Daily:  7.30 am until 6.00 pm

Late collection:
It is upsetting for any child to be 'left behind' when all of their friends have left, and unfair to our very hard working, dedicated, staff. . .  so we have had to apply a late collection charge of £5.00 for each 5 minutes or part thereof.

nursery education grants

We are able to offer Nursery Education Grant places in georgie porgies' Sessional Care Unit for all 3 and 4 year olds. . .  and some two year olds!

Your child is eligible for a Nursery Education Grant in the term after their 3rd birthday (or, in some cases, the term after which they turn 2) with term dates as follows:

Spring term:   starts 1st January
Summer term:   starts 1st April
Autumn term:   starts 1st September

Grant entitlement for your child is up to a maximum of 5, three hour sessions per week. . .  and for up to 38 weeks annually, in line with the school terms.

We reduce the monthly fees on a pro rata basis, in lieu of the current term.  Please note that any reduction made due to the child leaving georgie porgies before the end of term, is refundable to us so that we can pass it back to Tameside MBC.

If the NEG grant received for your child currently exceeds the amount we charge for a session, in accordance with the conditions of the grant, we are able to retain the surplus and use it to purchase educational equipment, resources and training courses for the benefit of Foundation Stage children (i.e. 2, 3 & 4 year olds).

Records of this expenditure are maintained and available to view on request.
