First of all. . .  what is a cookie?   A 'cookie' is a small file placed on your computer's hard drive or mobile device when you first visit our website.

Our website uses a Google Analytics cookie, which identifies the pages being viewed.   It also records the frequently with which each page or service is accessed, and remembers the search terms that were used  (or the link you followed) to find us.   This allows us to analyse web page traffic and optimise the site accordingly.

What else does this cookie do?   It tells us about device you are using to access the website;  (the Operating System, screen shape & size, resolution etc.) so that the pages display correctly. . .  which is why you will see the 'Cookie Permissions' box again if you access the site from a different device!

This cookie is safe!   Our 'traffic log' cookie cannot harm your computer or compromise your data in any way.   It does NOT give us access to your computer or any of your personal information.   We CANNOT see your name, IP address or email, the details of any other sites you may have visited or your general online activity.

TO ACCEPT OR DECLINE?

You can choose to accept or decline cookies when you first enter the site.   Although your choice will not affect the way the website functions, clicking to ACCEPT cookies will allow pages to be displayed according to the capabilities of the device you are using;  mobile 'phone, tablet, laptop, desktop PC or SMART TV.

Accepting cookies also provides us with visitor analysis so that we can present the information that your search query suggests that you are looking for!

We take the privacy of our pupils, parents or carers very seriously and we are fully compliant with all statutory requirements of GDPR  (General Data Protection Regulations).   As part of this commitment Georgie Porgies Nursery Limited will NEVER share your information with third parties without your prior, written, consent.

Statement of Lawful Basis:   We hold and / or process your data because we have entered into a business communication or contract, or you have requested to receive our communications.

Security of your data:   We only hold data that you provide to us in the normal course of business and all data is securely stored according to best practice in the sector.

Individual rights requests:   Under GDPR you have the right to be informed about the data we hold.   You have the right to request that we erase your data. . .  and the right to object to us holding any and all of your personally identifiable information.
